Todd Oliver and friends will leave your audiences laughing. You may recognize him from his appearances on “The Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson”, “The Today Show”, “Late Show with David Letterman”, “The Tonight Show with Jay Leno”, “The Howie Mandel Show”, “Walker Texas Ranger”, “CNN Entertainment News”, and most recently, becoming a semi-finalist on NBC’s “America’s Got Talent”. David Letterman proclaimed Todd one of the “Top 5 Ventriloquists in the World.
Todd also offers his show with his band “The Smiling Eyes”, adding great energy to this original Rockn’ Comedy performance. The band consists of lead guitarist Mike Donoho, drummer Jeff Hauschildt, bass Marcus Willett, and Todd Oliver on guitar and piano.
His warm friendly personality creates a “magical family chemistry” with a cast of characters who along with Irving, you’ll also meet Pops, a crazy confused old timer; Miss Lilly, his lifelong love; and Joey, the loveable bad boy. While Todd is the lead vocalist, all of the band members sing 4 part harmony. The positive music is reminiscent of those fun rock-n-roll songs of the 70′s, “Joey” the newest band member joins the fun, emerging from Todd’s piano bench. This show is up to 2 hours long.
