• Vladimir Zaitsev – Baroque to Beatles

  • “Baroque to Beatles” is Vladimir’s trademark concept of an eclectic piano show: a kaleidoscope of styles, genres, personal stories and musical anecdotes, comprised with music of baroque master D. Scarlatti, romantic giant S. Rachmaninoff, F. Busoni’s virtuosic Carmen Fantasy, jazz arrangements of Ukrainian folk songs, West Side Story Medley, variations on Scott Joplin rag-times, Beatles Tribute in classical style and selection of Gershwin favorites, presented in tongue-in-cheek style, reminiscent of Victor Borge. Vladimir Zaitsev is an award-winning piano virtuoso and versatile entertainer.

  • A native of Kiev, Ukraine, he has performed on three continents, including appearances in Lincoln Center and Carnegie Hall with the International Symphony as well as number of TV and Radio appearances. His solo repertoire includes works from the classical as well as from the popular culture. Any one performance includes well-known piano masterpieces, along with Mr. Zaitsev’s own insightful and virtuosic piano arrangements of well-known Broadway, “pop,” and international favorites. Mr. Zaitsev uses his versatile and charismatic talents to create a singular one – man show, in which the audience is presented with dazzling pianism, heartfelt vocal renditions and a mixture of delightful and personal anecdotes.
